Thomas Glavinic (*1972) is a prolific, often controversial Austrian novelist and the author of “Carl Haffner’s Love of the Draw” / “Carl Haffners Liebe zum Unentschieden” (1998), “Night Work” / “Die Arbeit der Nacht” (2008) and “Das größere Wunder” (2013). I’m actually a (very short-lived) character in his real-name fiction “Das bin doch ich” (2007) and it’s all true.
