Geoff Dyer

Geoff Dyer (*1958) is a renowned English critic and novelist. He’s the author of genre-defying works such as the best-selling jazz fantasy “But Beautiful” (1991), the photography study “The Ongoing Moment” (2005) and “Yoga For People Who Can’t Be Bothered to Do It” (2004), which is mostly about travelling. His manner of often exploring his subjects, including John Berger and D.H. Lawrence, by semi-fictional means is unparalleled. New York Magazine called him “one of our greatest living critics, not of the arts but of life itself, and one of our most original writers”.
